Time & Location
Jun 11, 2026, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Ogden Union Station, 2501 Wall Ave, Ogden, UT 84401, USA
About the event
We will examine the physical preservation of the station itself, exploring how to manage a historic building's unique needs while keeping its original character. We will also look at how the museum adapts to the space to safely store and care for its artifacts.
Attendees will see firsthand how to navigate decision-making regarding the historic buildings and collections they steward. Whether you are a museum professional or manage a historic property, you will gain insight into practical solutions for long-term preservation. Attendees will also have access to the museum’s galleries after the tour.
Please Note: This is a 2-hour walking and standing tour. Participants must be able to navigate multiple flights of stairs and enter confined spaces. Some areas are not climate-controlled and may be hot; please dress comfortably and plan accordingly.
