Advocacy Committee
Preservation Utah’s Advocacy Committee supports statewide preservation advocacy by helping guide strategy, sharing community perspectives, and advancing the goals of the annual Advocacy Platform. Committee members bring diverse experience and insight to support policy engagement, resource development, and public awareness efforts that strengthen preservation across Utah.
The committee meets monthly and offers a meaningful way to contribute to preservation advocacy, collaborate with others statewide, and help shape long-term preservation priorities.

Historic Properties Committee
The Historic Properties Committee (HPC) is a board-designated committee that provides expert oversight and guidance for Preservation Utah’s Easement Program and Revolving Loan Fund Program. Chaired by two members of the Board of Trustees and supported by staff, the committee helps ensure that historic properties are stewarded with rigor, consistency, and long-term care.
Committee members bring professional expertise in preservation, architecture, law, construction, finance, and related fields. Together, they support informed decision-making, ethical preservation practices, and responsible use of program resources—strengthening Preservation Utah’s role as a trusted preservation resource for property owners and communities statewide.
