Opportunities in Preservation

Preservation Utah is a statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting, restoring, and celebrating Utah’s historic architecture and places. Preservation Utah manages Memorial House, a historic landmark located in Memory Grove Park in Salt Lake City. The building serves both as Preservation Utah’s headquarters and as a community event venue that hosts weddings, nonprofit gatherings, cultural events, and private celebrations throughout the year. Event rentals help support the organization’s preservation programs and public initiatives across the state. 

Event Staff supports the successful operation of events hosted at Memorial House. Working under the supervision of the Memorial House Events Manager, staff assist with event setup and breakdown, coordinate with clients and vendors, monitor venue access, and help ensure events run smoothly from start to finish. 

Preservation Utah is a nonprofit that champions the protection, restoration, and celebration of our state’s historic architecture and places. Through advocacy, education, and collaboration, we inspire and empower individuals, organizations, and communities to sustain Utah’s heritage.
