About
R. Phillips Plastering provides comprehensive plaster, architectural finishing, and building-envelope services for historic, landmark, institutional, and commercial buildings. Our preservation work includes historic plaster assessment, restoration, replication, and reconstruction; ornamental and decorative plaster; architectural moldings, cornices, ceilings, and specialty finishes; as well as custom fabrication of GFRG, GFRC, and other architectural elements.
Service Description
Our exterior capabilities include the restoration and reconstruction of historic stucco and plaster façades, EIFS and exterior finish systems, weather barriers, insulation, vapor-retarding systems, and related exterior envelope details. We combine traditional plastering and restoration techniques with modern digital documentation, CNC fabrication, custom mold-making, and material expertise to accurately preserve, repair, or reproduce architectural details while meeting the demands of contemporary construction. From conserving original historic fabric and exterior finishes to recreating missing architectural elements, our team works closely with architects, preservation consultants, general contractors, and owners to protect the character, performance, and craftsmanship of significant buildings.
