Matthew Hintze Architecture

A relationship-based architecture studio dedicated to sustainability, comfort and timeless design. Informed by history, location and the particulars of each unique client, our design work celebrates creating space together, the act of making, the craftsperson and the artisan. We strive for elegantly unique solutions which prioritize human relationships, health, and biodiversity.

With over fifteen years experience of architecture practice, Matt Hintze holds degrees in Architecture from the University of Utah and is the recipient of scholastic and professional design awards. He spent several years previous to studying architecture working in custom furniture and millwork design and fabrication. He is a licensed architect in Utah and a member of the American Institute of Architects eligible for reciprocity in all US jurisdictions.
