About
Alpine Reality Capture is a Utah based reality capture firm producing existing-conditions documentation of buildings and sites. We use mobile SLAM and terrestrial LiDAR scanning, drone photogrammetry, and Gaussian splatting to create measured records: registered point clouds, 2D as-built floor plans, sections and elevations, scan-to-BIM models, and navigable 3D digital twins.
Service Description
For a historic property, the deliverable is a permanent, dimensionally accurate record of the structure as it exists today. That record supports rehabilitation design, condition monitoring over time, before-and-after documentation of intervention, and reconstruction reference if a building is ever damaged or lost. Capture is non-contact and non-destructive, and a typical building interior and exterior can be documented in a single day with minimal disruption to occupants or operations.
We are also an authorized dealer for XGRIDS LiDAR systems and for DJI, and we publish the XGRIDS Pro Guide, a free public technical reference on scanning workflow, field technique, and data processing.
