About the event
We invite history- and preservation-focused nonprofits, along with their staff, board members, volunteers, and supporters, to join us on the south steps of the Utah State Capitol as part of this collective show of nonprofit strength. Together, we will stand alongside nonprofits across sectors while highlighting the essential role that history, preservation, and cultural organizations play in Utah’s communities.
This high-energy rally takes place on the first day of the 2026 Legislative Session and is an opportunity for preservation nonprofits to show up together—visibly and united—within the broader nonprofit community. This event is an opportunity to stand together and remind our elected leaders that history, culture, and community matter.
